Therapeutic Yoga
We look at what you feel in body, emotions, energy and spirit, through the yogic map of koshas, chakras and nadis. Then I teach you a practice made for you: postures, breathing, mudras and cleansing techniques.
I'm Dyne Marshall, a yoga therapist from Brazil. For twelve years I have worked with the body, the mind and the subtle layers between them, in sessions built around the life you actually live.
I was eighteen, and I had lived inside a depression for years. The street outside my window looked grey. I never wanted to be where I was, or who I was.
Then a yoga school opened on my street. For weeks I walked past it, wanting to go in and never going in. Asthma finally gave me an excuse.
The first classes were hard. I couldn't balance, I couldn't relax, and I argued with everything. I kept going.
One afternoon I left the house on foot and, over the noise of the cars and of my own mind, I heard birds. I felt the wind. The trees on my street had colors I had never noticed.
That day I understood that life is worth something on its own, and that the more of it I let in, the less alone I am.
I decided then to spend my life helping other people find their own afternoon like that one.
I trained in Integrative Yoga at Centro de Yoga Montanha Encantada, a 250-hour program registered with Yoga Alliance, and I have taught since 2018. I studied Ayurveda at Instituto Gurukulam and fascia work with the physical therapist Ana Outsubo, and I keep studying the spine, posture and the body in motion with physical therapists.
I graduated in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio Grande, in Brazil, and wrote my thesis on Vedic psychology. I am completing postgraduate studies in music therapy and an MBA in people management and leadership.
Life is, at its core, energetic and spiritual, and everything is connected in ways deeper than we can see.
What I learned from Dr. Raj
Most of what makes a therapeutic process work lives in the quality of the relationship.
What I learned from Professor Lucas
I look at the whole of you: the body, the mind, and the spiritual field, always within your own beliefs.
We start with your life as it is today: your routine, your relationships, what is being asked of you. We name what weighs on you and what you long for, the dreams you put aside, and what your body and mind keep telling you. Then we set goals for the weeks, months and years ahead, and build a practice you can carry out of the room.
Every session is prepared for one person. You leave with something to do, and not only with something to think about.
I once worked with a woman who was firm, successful and certain about almost everything. She lived alone in a large house and had recently lost her mother.
On our second meeting, during a practice with yoga and music, she cried for her mother for the first time. Afterwards she told me she hadn't been able to cry in years. Months later she was traveling with her daughter, with whom she had long been at odds. She stayed a firm woman. She also became a happy one.
October 7 to November 2, 2026, at Legend Wellness Center in White Plains, New York.

Half of the hour is listening: your life today, your family, your emotions, what you want. The other half is turning that into a clear plan for the questions, practical and emotional, that are asking for your attention.
In groups
A circle of sound, voice and movement for everything that has been held silent for too long. We practice expression, confidence and letting go, through what the body and the voice can do together.
An afternoon for women: yoga, dance, a map of your own life, a circle to say what needs saying, and self-massage to close.
A complete class with postures, breathing, mudras, meditation and yoga nidra.
Sessions in Portuguese, or in English with the help of an interpreter. Private sessions in Portuguese are also available online. My work is for adults and does not replace medical or psychiatric care.

“I loved today's class, I needed it so much. In the end, with the meditation, I connected with the feeling of being part of the universe.”
“I have always been anxious and impulsive, and in almost two months of practice I can clearly see how much I have grown. I love when you bring music to us through your voice.”
“I am deeply grateful that our paths crossed, and for living all my processes with your support, care and wisdom.”
“I'm loving our meetings. I feel very present, and that moves me.”
